Converting PS files with Contenta Converter PREMIUM
PostScript (PS) is a standard file format for importing and exporting PostScript files. It is usually a single page PostScript program that describes an illustration or an entire page. PS is rapidly becoming outdated and replaced by PDF – but there are many existing programs that still use the PS format.

Step 1: Select your photos.
Click on the Add Photos button and select from your computer the .PS photos you wish to convert. Then click the ‘Next’ button.
If you get a message about Configuring Ghostscript than you will need to complete a one-time setup and instructions can be found here. After completing that install, you can return here to complete your conversion.

Step 2: Configure the conversion job
Make sure the “Do convert to format” check box is checked and select the format. In this example we picked JPEG, but the drop down menu also gives you more than a dozen other formats! You can also select a different output folder if you want to. This is the location where the files converted to JPEG will be stored.

Click start and soon you will see the final screen and you will have your new .JPG file that is much smaller than the original .PS file.
