Converting BMP files with Contenta Converter PREMIUM
The BMP format is one of the oldest graphics file formats dating back to the days of black and white printers and monitors. It was designed for fast display on your monitor. Step 1: Select your photos.
Click on the Add Photos button and select from your computer the .BMP photos you wish to convert. Then click the ‘Next’ button.

Step 2: Configure the conversion job
Make sure the “Do convert to format” checkbox is checked and select the format. In this example we picked JPEG, but the drop down menu also gives you the choices for TIFF, JPEG 2000, PNG and more than a dozen other formats! You can also select a different output folder if you want to. This is the location where the files converted to PNG will be stored.
