Contenta Converter PREMIUM converts ICO files
The ICO file format is an image file format used for icons in Microsoft Windows. ICO files were originally 32×32 pixels square and using 16 colors, but newer versions of windows support support great color depth and slightly larger size. The nature of an icon means the images are never that large.
Unless you have an icon editing program, you will probably need to convert an icon file to another format like PNG for editing. This is where Contenta Converter PREMIUM can be a huge assist. Using Contenta Converter PREMIUM you can load a ICO file and convert it to formats like PNG. I will demonstrate the quick and easy way to do this with Contenta Converter PREMIUM.
Step 1: Select your photos.
Click on the Add Photos button and select from your computer the .ICO photos you wish to convert. Then click the ‘Next’ button.
Step 2: Configure the conversion job
Make sure the “Do convert to format” checkbox is checked and select the format. In this example we picked PNG, but the drop down menu also gives you the choices for BMP, JPEG , TIFF and more than a dozen other formats! You can also select a different output folder if you want to. This is the location where the files converted to PNG will be stored.
All done!
Click start and soon you will see the final screen and you will have your new PNG file.
